The Mediband Hinged Knee Brace is specially designed to provide increased stability for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries or general knee instability. With its smart "wrap-around" design, the knee brace is easy to put on and take off, even if you have difficulty pulling it over your foot. The design also allows the brace to be worn over clothing, which is particularly practical for winter sports or activities where quick application is needed.
The knee brace is 30 cm long and equipped with hinged splints on both the inside and outside of the knee, providing extra stability for people with knee problems. It is made of neoprene, a material that provides both warmth and compression, which helps reduce pain and swelling. Adjustable straps with "grip-handles" make it easy to open and close the brace, ensuring it stays in place without restricting freedom of movement.

Contraindications
- Fractures of the proximal femur or distal tibia and fibula.

Application

- Open the straps with tabs and lay the knee brace flat, inside up with the label visible.
- With the label in your right hand, wrap the upper part of the knee brace around your thigh, and the lower part of the knee brace around your calf. Close to hold the brace in place and then tighten all straps.
- Tighten all straps so that it is comfortable.
Care instructions
Washing and care instructions
- Close all hook-and-loop fasteners and remove the metal hinges.
- Hand wash the brace in cold water with mild detergent.
- Rinse and dry flat.
- Do not spin or tumble dry.
- Never use fabric softener.
- Check for deterioration that may affect use.
- Regularly check that the hook-and-loop closure is functioning securely.
